Born in Matson, Gloucester. He was raised in Tredworth and often described himself as a "wholehearted Gloucester boy."

Spent significant time in the hospital as a young boy. This personal experience of illness became the primary inspiration for his life-long dedication to children's charities.

Attended local schools in Gloucester, later reflecting that he never initially imagined his life would take him as far as it did.

Officially listed as a director of Avenue Cars of Gloucester Limited. He would go on to build the "Avenue Group" into a leading dealership specializing in high-prestige vehicles.

Became a dedicated box holder at Kingsholm Stadium, marking the start of a 30-year unwavering support for Gloucester Rugby.

Chaired the Mark Cornwell Testimonial, raising funds for the legendary Gloucester lock.

Joined the board of The Pied Piper Appeal, the county's leading children's charity, as a Trustee.

Became a prominent member and passionate golfer at Brickhampton Golf Club, where he was known for organizing charity golf days and events.

Appointed Chairman of The Pied Piper Appeal, a role he would hold for 12 years. Under his leadership, he turned the Pied Piper Annual Car Show into a premier regional event.

Launched the Emily's Gift Appeal under the Pied Piper umbrella (led by Julie Kent MBE).

Appointed Chair of the Gloucester Rugby Charitable Foundation, stating his goal was to "make a positive difference in the county."

The Emily’s Gift campaign hit its landmark target of £500,000 in a single year to provide psychological support for children with cancer for the next decade.

Passed away peacefully on Christmas Day at the age of 63, surrounded by his family.
