Attended Calton Road Primary School, where his love for his hometown and its sports began to take root.

A lifelong supporter of Gloucester Rugby. He was a "faithful stalwart," traveling nationwide to follow the team "through all the good times and the bad."

Studied at Crypt Grammar School Gloucester. He was a dedicated "Old Cryptian" who could still recite the school song decades after leaving.

At age 15, his talent as a player emerged. He played for Gloucester Colts and reached the final trials for England Rugby, marking him as one of the elite young prospects in the country.

Continued his playing career with local rugby sides Old Cryptians and Gordon League, embodying the grit and skill of Gloucester's grassroots rugby.

Married his wife, Diane, at St James Church, Gloucester.

Moved to the West Midlands to establish his career as a Quantity Surveyor. Though he lived outside the county, his heart remained at Kingsholm.

Built a beautiful family with Diane, raising their son Nick and daughter Laura, and later becoming a devoted "Grampy" to Jack and Harry.

He was known for his pride in being a Gloucester fan, specifically enjoying the pre-match banter and talking to opposition fans, representing the best of rugby’s social traditions.

His passion extended to the national team; he was an avid supporter of England Rugby and traveled to attend several Rugby World Cup matches over the years.

Spent his final years enjoying holidays in the sun and cherishing time with his grandchildren.

Passed away at the age of 74, leaving behind a legacy of sport, family, and a lifelong devotion to the "Cherry and Whites."

Which legacy would they have wanted?
