Beyond his professional accomplishments, John was a loving family man. He shared over four decades of marriage with his beloved wife, Sara Wilson, and together they built a home filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. His devotion to family extended to his role as a father and grandfather, where he found profound joy and fulfillment in the company of his children and grandchildren.

A memorial lunch will be held at the annual remembrance lunch at Kingsholm which will be listed on the Legacy of Gloucester website, family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of John Burden and bid farewell to a beloved member of the community.
