A tribute page is a web page that tells the story of a person’s life who has passed away. It’s a place where friends and family can say nice things or add stories and simply remember the good things about someone’s life. It’s a legacy for the successors of that person to be able to read and enjoy for generations to come. Our tribute pages sit on the club website. Friends and family can also sponsor community foundation projects in the deceased person’s name, or plant a tree in their memory or order an engraved keepsake of that person.
The tribute pages have been designed to be very simple so that everyone can use them but if you have a technical problem simply contact us through the contact us page and we’ll create a ticket to fix your problem within 48 hours.
Tribute pages are free to create and manage.
It is easy to avoid this by searching for the deceased fan’s name first to see if someone has already created a profile for them. If there are two profiles then talk to the other person and one of you can delete their profile. Tribute pages can have more than one page manager.
We ask that you don’t send flowers and that instead, you plant a tree in memory of the deceased which is better for the planet and lasts longer than a bunch of flowers.
Yes when you are checking out you can choose to sponsor a multiple of projects in the name of the deceased.
Every recipient of support from you will receive a link to the tribute page of your loved one, telling the stories of their life.
The trees are planted either around the stadium, at the training ground, in the local forest or in suburbs around the stadium. You can choose where to plant your remembrance trees on the ‘Plant a Tree’ page.
Engraving usually takes longer than buying products that are not personalised but each product is different so look on the page for delivery timeframes. The products come from Manchester so the delivery times should not take too long.
Our delivery partners are worldwide companies but check the terms and conditions on the product page for any exemptions.
